Website homepage

I designed the website for Nobi Fusion restaurant in Adobe InDesign and worked with a programmer who wrote the code according to my specifications.

The client requested I use this landscape stock photo as the homepage photo. I had reservations because the website is for a restaurant and the photo seemed not to express that identity to me as a designer, but the photo is scenographic and captures the viewer's attention. I set it up against an elegant black background which suits it best in my eyes. This choice was appreciated by the client as well. For the menu bar and text fields I worked with the pinks and greys of the company's logo. The colors in the photos of the restaurant interior pull out the yellow of the logo and of the sunset in the photo and tie in with the blue in the sky so the page seems to have harmony. I used the bowl of the logo as a black-on-black backdrop to the scroll space between the menu bar and the second half of the page. The bowl stays put as the text field and photos move with the scrolling action which serves to anchor the eye to the page.

Menu page

For the menu page, I was able to choose a photo that represented asian food and hopefully creates appetite. The colors work nicely with the logo and menu bar.

Under the text field, I included the covers of the pre-existing menus according to the client's specifications. The page scrolls down through all of the menus stacked end to end. A specific menu can also be reached by tapping the photo which is linked to its menu and then jumps to the correct spot. I added lateral arrow links alongside each of the menu pages to give the viewer the chance to return at any time to the top of the page.

Contacts page

The contacts page is an abbreviated page with the restaurant's address, telephone number and open hours. I registered the restaurant on Google maps and the interactive map is included.

Website homepage

Antje is talented in many areas and she wanted a personal website that highlighted her different talents and services. I used the Shopify platform because she has a variety of products and services to sell.

On her website, she sells her fine art, she sells her energy healing services, she sells her art classes, and she exhibits her creative writing samples.

(There are also various pages to peruse through the links tab: about me, fine art, energy healing, elemental space clearing, art classes, contact)

Scrolling down further, client reviews for various services, and a gallery of art works for sale. Further down the page there are her art classes, art collections, her 3 blogs.
